Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Cancellation Policy?

Unless otherwise noted, cancellation policy is 48 hours prior to arrival before 3:00 pm EST. If canceled after, the 1st night's of room and tax will be charged to the credit card on file.

How much does The Leon Hotel take in authorizations?

We authorize your credit card for room and tax, plus $50.00 of incidentals for reservations 1 to 4 days, and $150.00 of incidentals for reservations 5 days or more.

  • We DO NOT accept credit cards that do not have a printed name. 
  • Name on the reservation must match card on file, along with the corresponding ID at the time of check-in. 
  • Depending on your financial institution, it may take 5-10 business days for the funds to be returned.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Our formal check-in time is 3:00 pm EST and our formal check-out time is 12:00 pm EST. Late check-outs and early check-ins are given upon availability and may incur additional charges. Contact the front desk for availability.

Can I smoke in my room?

The Leon Hotel is committed to having a 100% NON SMOKING environment. If found smoking in the room, a $500.00 smoking penalty charge may be assessed and you may be asked to leave the hotel.

Do you offer breakfast?

We do not offer breakfast at the moment but have exciting plans coming soon. We will make sure to keep you updated on this progress.

Do your rooms have a refrigerator?

We do not offer a minibar or refrigerator option in our hotel.

Do you offer rollaway beds?

We do not offer rollaway beds in the rooms. We do however offer rooms with 2 and 3-bed options. Playpens are available for babies upon request.

Do you offer onsite parking?

We do not offer onsite parking but below are three local options.

  • Quik Park: 38 Bowery (between Canal and Bayard Streets)
  • Rapid Park: 44 Elizabeth Street (between Canal and Hester Streets)
  • Chrystie Garage: 89-93 Chrystie Street (between Grand and Hester Streets)
